Sculptural monument "The Kok Turk - Turk Ata"

Descriptive part

 

      The monument "The Kok Turk" - expressing greatness and drama destinies of Turkic people, determination of them again to become creators of the destiny and the phenomenon, a modern civilization influencing to development, - should become top of art of the Turkic world and one of the best creations of a similar sort on the Earth.

 

    The monument "The Kok Turk" will be build on the highest hill in radius ~80км (600 m above sea level) and will be seen from apart to look majestically, creating a raised image of the Turkic world, lighting up visitors Turkic spirit going through millennium.

 

The hill has conditionally isosceles (150м one side) the triangular form with the wide basis (80м) from the south, gradually towering on the north.

From the western side of a hill there passes the main international highway of the Central Asia, and on east - the small town Turan begins.

      Prospective general height of a monument (switching a pedestal) ~ 60 m, the sizes of the bottom part of a pedestal up to 60х60м under which being stretched on the south, going deep under the ground, the historical museum of Turkic people will be constructed.

As the monument will be constructed on the high hill, the offered height probably will be sufficient expressively to solve a task in view.

    The monument outside, combining massiveness with art, inside should have mine well for two lifts. We believe that the skeleton of a monument will be executed from metal, and outside will be trim with sheets of easy durable alloys.

Lifts should deliver visitors to two platforms. The platform located at height of ~15-20 meters on a circle outside of a monument, will serve as a viewing platform and as a tribune for guests of honor among whom there is also an author of a monument (we shall tell, for a solemn greeting exulting weight of people).

The second platform should be whenever possible higher and serve as a survey place for visitors. It is desirable, that somewhere on the top of a monument the multi-vector reflector of light (including artificial), attracting in "The Kok Turk" was organically entered.   

       

      The parameters of a monument described above not final. The shape and its sizes will define creativity of the sculptor. Topographical shooting of a platform with the indication of a place of accommodation of a monument can be sent to interested persons. We believe, that the museum should be located under a basis of a monument and will be stretched on the south, and ethno park Turkic people is placed the southern side.

 

 

                                                   Regulations about Competition

For the best outline sketch of a sculptural monument The Kok Turk"

 

Competition is declared by the decision of 5-th Congress of World Assemblies of Turkic People

And Open Company "historical-cultural centre "Turan" from November, 5, 2007.

 

       In competition can participate any representative of Turkic people.

Offered works should be executed in a channel of the above-stated ideas.

For participation at competition it is necessary to direct materials addressed to a management World Assemblies of Turkic People. Materials should arrive in the addressee not later May, 10, 2010 in paper and electronic carriers, in 2х copies. The sculptural monuments submitted as a breadboard model is welcomed.

    All materials submitted on competition remain in the property of the future management of a sculptural-monumental complex "The Kok Turk". Best of them will be exposed in a museum of a history of a monument.

    Applicant, on the sent materials in addition should inform the addressee through the standard liaison channels. To authors of the received materials written confirmation is sent.

     

After May, 10, 2010 competitive materials will be opened and investigated by competitive commission WATP. Thus all submitted materials are exposed on a general review and the decision of the commission will declare through MASS-MEDIA, and to prize-winners the notice in writing is sent.

 

    The outline sketches recognized as best will form a basis of the equipment design on which the sculptural monument "The Kok Turk" will be erected. As authors of the best project one or several physical persons as co-authors can be recognized.

Name of the author of the best outline sketch forever it will be engraved on a wall of a monument, to him the place in a museum will be allocated and will give out the annual invitation to free-of-charge visiting of small town Turan, with the right of transfer by right of succession.

 

Nevertheless the main prize is eternal gratitude of the Turkic world.

  Today the moment has come to follow the road restoration kind and proud a name the Turk - to show inspiration as our ancestors - the Great Moguls, presented invaluable gift to mankind as the mausoleum Taj-mahal etc., and unity in erection of a monument "The Kok Turk" and small town Тuran.

 For "The Kok Turk" Тuran is one of the beginnings of a reconstruction of the Turkic nation - a Turkic civilization!
